"Daddy, up!" "Daddy, up!" My 2-year-old daughter usually calls out emphatically while looking and using her little fingers to point upwards. She wants me to toss her up in the air something she does not enjoy past the third throw but yet she keeps coming back. I like the adrenaline rush of the whole experience but not to appear to impose and damage our very good relationship, I request for confirmation before thrusting her off the ground. Up?, I ask to which she responds affirmatively saying yes (pronounced as Yesh!) or just runs away into hiding with a resounding NO! Some days are great and filled with laughter while others are gloom especially when I throw her so high. She becomes jittery and uncontrollably yells or cries.
